Amed

Amed north Bali

Amed is a dry coastal area that has a loyal tourist following. Snorkeling is good from the beach and there is a Japanese wreck there that attracts divers.

Steep pathways lead down to the beach where local fishing boats are lined up.

Amed and nearby Tulamben are both sleepy little coastal villages without a whole lot going on especially at night

This is a great place for those who like peace and quiet and just want to relax and read a book or two.
