Ganesha Bookshop Bali

Ganesha Bookshop On Jalan Raya, one of the main roads in Ubud there is a colorful bookstore that has a range of books from the paperbacks to books about Bali and Indonesian culture. It is at the intersection of Raya and Jembawan, the same road that one of the main post offices is located. There are a bunch of international magazines and newspapers for sale. Usually the Jakarta Post doesn't arrive until 2:00 pm. It costs 5000 rupiah. If you are in Ubud for a few weeks or longer this bookstore seems to work it's way into your routine. Ubud is not a town known for wild nightlife so it is really handy to be able to pick up some fresh reading material to have to read at night.
