Just a quick note about Indonesian visas. Most people get a 30 day voa, or visa on arrival at the international airport in Denpasar on Bali. My last time through the airport I got a 7 day visa for 10 USD. I only had to be there for 5 days and noticed a sign with information on the cheaper visa, so got that one instead.

It still wastes a full page in your passport but saves you 15 dollars. Don't forget about the 100,000 rupiah departure tax when you leave on an international flight. The departure tax on domestic flights is a lot less but I can't remember the exact amount.
