Did a sweet dive off the beach halfway between Dili and Baucau yesterday.
Shore entry, 27 meters, 72 minutes. Went with Wayne of Freeflow. Really neat guy with lots of experience in Timor waters.
East Timor has a tremendous variety of corals and sponges. Really beautiful dive.
Saw a few white pipefish and some beautiful flourescent blue anenome shrimp.
They must be quite rare as Wayne had never seen them before either (on thousands of dives)
There was one big turtle and several nudibranchs that were new to me as
well. There was an incredible array of sponges and corals that I had
never seen before either.
