Clean white sand beaches run along the gulf shores near Apalachicola,
Florida
an area surrounded by national forest. Shrimp boats
line up at the docks near the fish processing plants.
If you love the
sea this is a great place to unwind for a couple of days. Listening to
the gulls while an offshore breeze blows in the smell of the sea is
invigorating.
It can be cold in the winter time but if you bundle up and venture out
you can have the beach to yourself.
