Senora Rosa's guesthouse is across the street from Sina Seaside guesthouse.
Rosa is quite a character. Kind of like a New York City street hawker.
They have a co-op that sells tais (traditional hand woven cloth) at her place. Some of these pieces are
really quality and the prices are quite cheap. A few of them are made by
the young kids and are not too good so don't shop in the dark.
If you are driving, Com is 20 kilometers past Lautem. It is a 4 1/2 to
5 hour drive from Dili, longer if you stop for photos. You could also
stop for a swim at one of the sandy beaches along the way.
If you are taking public transportation you can take a bus towards Los
Palos from Dili for 4.00 dollars but get off where the road goes to Com
in Lautem. Then wait around for a truck or microlet to Com from the
market. There is not very much traffic to com so it might be a long wait. The normal fare is 1.50 from the market to town.
