There were Portugese GNR mixed in to help keep the peace. These guys do
have a certain style about the way they do things. They usually do not
wear helmets which is good because it might mess up their hair.
The group started to attack the refugee camp nearby with stone throwing
but the refugees came running out to protect their camp and started
throwning rocks in return. One guy even showed up with a bow and arrow.

I just got back from a big demonstration in front of the palace. The momentum against Alkatiri is mounting.
Many of the protesters from last night are now assembled along the
waterfront in front of the parliment building and under the banyon
trees across from the big pink building.
