Trees on the mountain
They must have been part of a long ago logging operation that ended for
some reason and left the trees standing in the wind. It looks like they
were adandoned over a hundred years ago because they are weathered and
almost seem petrified.

The Sara Restaurant at the fork in the road in Maubisse has a very nice loseman on the hill behind the restaurantnt.
They supply 2 thick blankets that you will need at night up there in the hills. It gets cold.

For large groups this would be the best option because the other place,
Sara's isn't really set up for that. If you only need one room Sara's
has a more family atmosphere and the owners are really friendly.
