Oecussi prison – East Timor
An abandoned prison just outside of Pante Makassar in Oecussi is a reminder of Indonesian times.
I don’t have the full history on it but the general consensus is that is was pretty full under the Indonesian administration.
If I get the chance to talk to Father Richard maybe he can give a better idea what that was all about.

There must be some incredible stories about this place. It is so strange to see this abandoned prison just decaying here in the middle of nowhere.

I visited the place many times and going next week, i will make sure to get to the bottom of this and let you know what went there…
