Ricky,
We went to Donsol our first week here and went out 3 days and saw 5, 8, and 3 whale sharks respectively. ONe interaction was for 10 minutes!!  It was awesome staying near the shark that long before he went down.
TheTubbataha liveaboard dive trip was in one word, AMAZING!!!  It was everything
we expected and more.  It was like swimming in an aquarium most of the time.  The
reef was so pristine, colorful and full of life.  We saw lots of white tip reef
sharks, a nurse shark, lots of sea turtles and tons of beautiful corals and fish.  By the
time we were diving for 3 days, the dive master stopped pointing out sharks
because we had seen so many already!  Phenomenal water, excellent boat, crew and food.
No mantas or hammerheads though Sad
We are in Puerto Princesa now  and will be exploring more of this island for the next few weeks.  We are going to explore the southern part starting tomorrow as we head out to Quezon.   Not sure where we will go after that.
