This picture is in eastern Samar near Guiuan. In Cebu the traveling is easy. In Donsol the whale shark watching capitol of the Philippines. She was treated to some close up encounters with these beautiful animals but oddly enough she claims that they stink.
For anyone spending time in the Philippines, it is well worth a trip to Bicol in Luzon to have a look at these fish. It's best Jan to mid April but I've seen some in November as well. Whale shark. At the lookout on Mayon volcano.
