The Pelangi Inda Hotel across the street from the museum is the nicest place to stay in Alor.
It's on the same road as the Dive Alor diveshop and is a convenient place to base your travels from.
They have a free pick up service from the airport but charge 25,000 rupiah to bring customers back to the airport.There is no on site restaurant but they have coffee and snacks.

This place seems ok. They have buget rooms on up to around 120,000 rupiah for those with air conditioning. There is a banquet hall or meeting room so the place would get crowded if there was an event going on.
