Bebe’s Guesthouse Malapascua
For those on a budget or travelers simply trying to stretch their pesos the Bebe’s Guesthouse is the cheapest lodging on the island.
Bebe’s is right behind Ging-Ging’s restaurant on the way to Dan’s dive shop.
Bebe has 14 rooms for 250 to 500 pesos per night. The simpler ones are plain but come with a mosquito net. There is no malaria or dengue that I am aware of but the little buggers can pester you all night long if you didn’t have a net.
The washing water is slightly brackish because it comes from a well but it’s not too bad. Mineral water is available for 25 to 30 pesos per liter at the sari sari stores and restaurants.
It can rain a lot on Malapascua island so it might not be a bad idea to bring along a collapsible umbrella for when you are walking around at night.
The town’s electricity turns off at 12 midnight so it is a good idea to bring along a flashlight because the trails are dark. Bebe sometimes gives discounts if you plan to stay for a few days.

can you be more precise about the location and how to get there
Hello Larry,
Malapascua has a maze of pathways that are totally random. I suggest just asking for Ging Ging restaurant (everyone knows that place) and follow the path behind it for 20 meters.
Bebe’s was the best value on the island last time I was there. The owner is always willing to offer discounts.
