My tooth was giving me a great deal of aggravation so I decided to see
an old friend Flora, a dentist on Manalili Street in Cebu City.
There are scores of dental clinics in Cebu but she was recommended to
me by a friend several years ago and I was happy with her work.
My tooth was absessed so she fit me into her schedule the following
morning and went to work on it straight away.
After spending 1 hour and
15 minutes scraping away at the root she filled the gap with
antibiotics and told me not to chew on that side for a month or so two
give it time to heal.
The charge was only 400 peso or 10 dollars USD. On a previous visit an
associate worked on a tooth for 2 hours and 15 minutes and the charge
was only 900 peso.
I have been very happy with this clinics work. She
has also done 4 implants for a friend of mine that recommended her to
me the first time. She also does crowns.
The building that her clinic is in looks dreary but her place is very clean and professional.
Her assistant Jen is a sweetheart and "available" if the right guy
comes along.
There are so many real sweethearts in this country that
you can fall in love very easily.
