    Hi mitch,

Cora’s is on the alley that runs parallel to the “beach”. Anyone in the area can point you in the right direction.

I think Cora’s place is one of the best values in Moalboal.

    Hi mitch,

Cora is the owner and manager of this small resort. dutchpickle is an information site where I put info on the web about accommodation, transport, and general tips to help out fellow travelers.

I have stayed at Cora’s place before and was happy with it.

My guess is that she has 5 or 6 rooms.

There are 50 more pages about Cebu and Moalboal on this site suggesting other options as well.

    Hi mitch

I do not know the current cost but in my experience they are flexible.

The rooms are simple but the location is superb.

    Hi Iza,

I don’t have any pictures of the “beach” but there is very little sand in Panagsama-Moalboal.

White Beach – 4 kilometers north of Panagsama – has a nice beach, but dutchpickle hasn’t made any pages about what is available up there yet. White Beach is more remote and more difficult to get transport to and back from town.

dutchpickle is an information site and we don’t make reservations. Please contact the resort directly. Cora is a great girl and will probably offer a discount if you are planning to stay several week.

  11. the place( as a whole-referring to the beach) was good.. the owner however, made our stay worse. she was shouting when we left our food at the table to swim. i mean, HELLO?! wtf are gonna do there? just sleep? it is so NOT nice to shout at your customers when you can just politely ask them to clean it up a bit!!! She was even yelling at us that we only rented the room. Does that mean we are not allowed to stay outside to eat/drink? c’mon! It really was a very bad experience. Good thing though the owner of the neighboring beach resort saw what happened and invited us in. It was just a bad experience. Especially considering she’s in that kind of business. No wonder nobody but us who were there. Had we known that was what we’re about to experience, we should have chose another resort. take it from me. its a BAD PLACE to spend your summer and unwind.

    Hi,

I always found Cora to be easy going and cheerful!

She is the owner, manager, maid, garbage collector, water courier, promoter, etc when she is not working on her small farm – and might have felt that you were making extra work for her by not cleaning up after yourselves.

I stand by my support for her place and highly recommend it for budget travelers.

    Hi,
Everytime me and my husband is on vacation, we always stays at Coras palm court. She is very kind and very considerate. Her place is just few steps to the crystal clear water. And if you like to stay longer, the cheaper you can get.
For those who wants to stay there, please show some respect, cora is not your assistant, and neither your mother is not working there to clean after you. Remember it is not a 5 star hotel where you expect to be treated like a royalty.
Cora wish nothing for all her guests but to enjoy their stay as much as possible!

i would like to ask, how to get their from the city to cora’s palm..? do you have available seaside fan room or simple aircon room for this weekends?

    pls…..rply…asap..

    tnxs!

  21. dutchpickle on said:

    Hello Joylyn,

The easiest way is to take a Ceres bus from the south terminal to Moalboal. Get off the bus by the market in Moalboal and take a motor bike taxi or tricycle the 4 kilometers to the sea shore known as Panagsama. Just tell the driver “Coras” – no worries. Coras Palm Court is just past the parking area in front of Eves and also Nelsons dive shop – it is right on the seashore – very nice!

I do not know what is available this weekend – can you give Cora a call in advance?
