This budget place might work out ok for those on a backpackers budget. It is near the SSS (social security bld.) and a Kia dealership. These are good landmarks for cab drivers.
A single fan room costs 315 pesos and discounts apply for stays of a
week or longer. A good discount also applies to the breakfast.
A double air conditioned room is 700 pesos and the single ac is 450 pesos.
The rooms are in 2 older wooden buildings out back behind the restaurant. Most of them will have a shared bath.
The place has a definite character about it with many Indian themed paintings hanging on the walls.
Wood carvings that look something like Picasso might make are scattered about the place giving the place a purple haze kind of vibe.
The menu has a strong German influence and the food is good. San Miguels are 35 pesos.
A cab to Fuente Circle or Robinson mall will run about 45 pesos. There is not very much going on within walking distance
An artist with no arms spends the afternoons working on paintings off to the side in the restaurant. Some of his work is not bad.
I haven't stayed here yet but have eaten in the restaurant several times.
