La Isla Bonita restaurant
This outstanding restaurant has the best food for the price on the island. Originally owned by a German and his Filipina wife serving German, Thai, Filipino and Italian dishes.
The towns power turns on around 6pm and the place starts filling up.
The seafood is is great and the portions are reasonable.
I had a nice plate of shrimp and salad for 185 pesos.
A delicious tuna pizza was 140 pesos. The San Miguel beer pilsner is 45 peso per bottle which is a little high for the Philippines.
The staff is friendly and well trained.
This restaurant is a must for for anyone passing through Malapascua.
It is slightly hidden but you can reach it by taking a left if you exit Ging-Gings and walking 100 meters or so. From the beach it is set back behind Sunsplash.
