Little Corner Restaurant – Moalboal
There are 4 seafood restaurants in a row here. The biggest one is the “Little” Corner Restaurant with a great setting right above the water.
A cluster of small bars and restaurants are grouped together in this tight area.
I am not sure if the “Little Corner” restaurants food is any better than the others but there is plenty of sitting room so you don’t get that claustrophobic feeling that comes sitting at the small bars lining the narrow passageway when there is no breeze.
At this place the fish dishes run between 250 and 280 pesos. Spaghetti dishes between 100 and 150 pesos.
Calamares 180 to 190 pesos. Shrimp dishes around 185 peso. Beef – chicken – pork dishes 180.
Fillet steak in garlic herb butter is 390 pesos.
San Miguel beer 25 pesos, cokes are 15 pesos, and water 25 pesos.
I had the shrimp. It was good but too heavy on the sauce and msg
Restaurant on the seawall in Moalboal – the waterfront is undergoing changes so many of the small businesses and shops in this area will likely disappear.

Little Corner is an ok restaurant, although the fish dishes are a little overpriced. The main thing to note about this restaurant is that it has a small bar at the front. If you sit at the bar (or even the restaurant) to have drinks only then the prices are 30% higher!
It doesn’t seem to make sense, especially as you are handed a menu from the restaurant when you sit at the bar and aren’t told in advance that the prices are higher if you only have drinks…we don’t mind paying more but they should make it clear to their customers that this is the case.
