The sharp curve in the road before you get to Barilli on the west side of the island of Cebu is a beautiful viewpoint for looking out across the bay at the fishing village on the other side.

A concrete stairway leads down the the beach but watch your step because it would be a long tumble to the bottom if you get off the trail.
The local kids swim down there off the coral but there isn't a sand beach. It might be a good place to snorkel but it looks like there is a lot of kelp or other seaweed as you get further from shore.
The key to driving this highway is to stop along the way as much as possible to smell the roses.
