Philippine python
While having a beer at D Red Banana bar we heard a bit of a commotion outside.
The local kids had killed a python of 2 1/2 meters or so that had been raiding their backyards of small animals.
It was a beautiful snake but the kids had stomped its head and cut it with a bolo almost decapitating it.

It was an unfortunate evening for the snake but you could still see one of it’s victims bulging from it’s mid section.
I didn’t ask them if they were going to eat it.

Hey dp. that story reminds me of when i was in Biliran and we were looking at doing a water purification project up there for a small village. it was monsoon season and we had were on our way down the mountain as we had climbed to the water source to inspect it . Well on the way down we came across a guy who had just cut off the head of a Reticulated Python to get back the chicken that it had just eaten . It must have been around 2.5 mtrs also. He then took the snake to the barangay captain who skinned it and they had a bbq that nite. We didnt join in but one day mate one day i will try snake.
Missing u lots already mate. seems like u been gone a long time already ahaha
