BBQ pork is 5 pesos per skewer and the kabobs with vegetables are are 20p.

The price on the fish depends on the size.

The staff here is what makes it a lively place to have a beer or two. San Miguel 30 pesos a bottle.

Some of the girls that work here are from nearby Negros island and are real sweethearts.

Others are locals that can tell you about the history of this sleepy little beach town and all the latest gossip.

Most of the restaurants in Panagsama are set up for the tourists but if you take a tricycle to Moalboal (4 kilometers) there are a few carinderias by the market.

Stands selling lechon manok (chicken) and fruits and vegetables are in the same area.

When I stayed in Moalboal, I did my own cooking with stuff I got at the local market. The seafood market near the pier has some excellent fish and shrimp if you like seafood.
