Turtle Bay Dive Resort – Tongo Point Moalboal
This outstanding dive resort is on Tongo Point away from the crush of dive shops in Panqagsama.
It’s sandwiched between two other fine resorts, the Magic Island and Sampaquita.
Turtle Bay Dive caters to people that want more than a nipa hut and scuba diving. In fact they have their own house jeepney that makes trips to Kawasan Falls and other local attractions.
I usually opt for the budget accommodation but this place has it all for the serious holiday maker short on time and long on money. I really think it is one of the nicest resorts in the area if not in fact the best.
They offer 12 air conditioned rooms with plush bathrooms with hot water.
Almost all the resorts truck their water in and I think they do too. The pool is big and beautiful and the whole place is rather luxurious.
All of their dives are within 30 minutes of the resort and there are quite a few turtles in the area.
Those multi colored Mandarin fish are common in the area too and the occasional whale shark cruises through the area from time to time.
If you are not tight on cash this would be a great place to spend a few days.

dutchpickle is an information site that does not actually have any financial interest in the places we write about.
The Turtle Bay Resort is in Moalboal Cebu – an island near Bohol – and is quite some distance from Palawan.
It is a fairly new resort with a fresh appeal and the diving here is quite interesting. There are turtles in the bay in the sanctuary right out front of this resort.
I have snorkeled that reef and really like it.
The dive boats also make trips to nearby Pescador Island – maybe 30 minutes by boat.
I think that it would be well worth your time to check it out!
