is this lodge safe for female solo traveler
is there a cheap way to go to calauit ?

  3. I do not think getting to Calauit Island would be easy to do on a budget as there doesn’t seem to be any public transport to that area.

There are some motorbikes for rent in Coron if you are comfortable with riding them and some groups could hire out a jeepney but I am not sure the best way. I had a motorbike there and used that. It is a fair distance to Calauit Island from Coron.

A small boat is used from the parking area at the end of the road to get you over to Caluit Island and back. I have only been there 2 times and it was interesting to me. The funniest thing was feeding the giraffes :)

It was also cool to see all the zebras running around. There were some Palawan Bearded Pigs and other animals from Palawan as well.
