There are a number of ways to reach Camiguin Island by boat. The
shortest trip is from Balingoan on the northern tip of Mindanao but
there is even a weekly ferry to Cebu.


camiguin-ferry-003It takes about an hour from Balingoan to Mahinog on Camiguin Island. Mahinog is a small port town without many tourist facilities. It’s less than 20 kilometers to Mambajao, the capitol city

Philstone and Super Shuttle are two companies that make this run.

Passenger fare is 135 pesos and a motorbike is an additional 200 peso plus port fees.
