Gingoog Hotel – Gingoog

The Gingoog Hotel is a great place to lay over for the night if you are traveling along the north coast of Mindanao between Butuan and Cagayan de Oro.

Gingoog Hotel – rooms with ac, tv, and hot shower start at 1000 pesos a night – there is wi-fi in the restaurant.

The Gingoog Hotel staff is friendly and efficient!

The Gingoog is fresh and welcoming. The rooms are clean and everything seems to work.This might be a good place to stay if you are headed to Balingoan to take the ferry to Camiguin Island the following day.

I didn’t eat at the Eastland Restaurant but it looks like a nice place. (It is a bit to formal for me) There is a wi-fi router if you want to use internet here but you don’t pick it up in the rooms. There is an internet cafe just 2 doors down to the right as you exit the door.

The Bachelor Tour bus lines terminal is across the street at the public market. These buses are first rate and a comfortable way to travel in Mindanao.

The pier seems to be the gathering place for the locals trying their luck at catching fish in the afternoon.
