how much is the fare in ferry from iligan to cebu?

  8. dutchpickle on said:

    Hello winaflor,

Ceres Lines do not operate in Mindanao (which is where Iligan is)

Rural Transit is the bus liner that runs Mindanao and there are no buses from Iligan to Cebu.

The easiest way to get from Iligan to Cebu is to take a Rural Transit bus to Dipolog and then take a tricycle to the port of Dapitan, Mindanao.

You will hop across the bay on the Ozamis to Mukas ferry.

In Dapitan get a ticket on any of the 4 ferries making the run to Dumaguete on Negros.

From Dumaguete you can get a bus direct to Cebu City. The fare will include a short ferry hop from Negros to Cebu Island.

Its not a difficult trip but get an early start so you can get to Cebu at a reasonable hour.

    cheers

Naa lang koy usa ka pangutana. Tag pila man ang biyahe gikan sa Cebu padulong sa Dumaguete via ferry?

  11. dutchpickle on said:

    Hello AJ

I never took the ferry from Cebu to Dumaguete so am not sure.

It is quicker to take the bus from Cebu to Dumaguete The bus follows the coast to Bato, (in southern Cebu) where it makes the short hop on the Maayo ferry across to Negros Island and then proceeds to the city of Dumaguete.

I don’t have the current fare but it used to run about 250 pesos.

    Hi ren,

There are continuous minor changes to the schedules but Ceres Lines is growing, so most likely there will be even more options than what I list.

naa rko pangutana kung pwede pa kabyahe ang eight months pregnant cebu to dumaguete?naa mo requirements dapat eh comply before mo mag authorize ana?thanks

  23. dutchpickle on said:

    Hello zosine,

Best to check with your doctor about that hon. I do not know if there are any regulations on the bus about traveling when that far along but most ferries will not allow it.

One woman gave birth in a mulit-cab on the way into Ormoc City from Nueva a few months ago. It made for an interesting situation, but the baby and mother were both ok.

then i will ride maayo to negros…

  26. dutchpickle on said:

    Hello chonsy –

If she is leaving from Cebu – just go to the Ceres Terminal there and get the express bus to Dumaguete. The air con is very comfortable and fast.

I don’t know of any v-hires that go from Cebu to Dumaguete. They just couldn’t compete with the convenience and comfort of the bus.

    cheers

    hi,
is there a trip from cebu to manila by a ceres bus? how much is the fare? sked and fare please. thank you…

  33. dutchpickle on said:

    Hello rein

I do not know of any bus route from Cebu to Manila.

You could take a ferry to Ormoc Leyte and catch a bus from there to Manila for about 1100 pesos but it is a long trip.

    Maybe consider an airplane ?
