    Hi,

Hey I was wondering if you know of a reliable schedule for the vehicle ferry crossing from negros to santander. I will be traveling by motorcycle sometime around mid April…

    Thanks,
    stephen

Maayo Shipping leaves to make the passage between Cebu and Negros Island every 90 minutes or so.

They have their own docks and don’t use the port facility at Santander.

Maayo Shipping handles almost all the vehicle traffic between the two islands including all the Ceres Lines buses.

The crossing at Santander is for foot traffic only.

I finished my welding course in dumaguete @ CLHIDO. I want to have an OJT as a welder in your company if its okay and what are the requirements?

  9. dutchpickle on said:

    Hello giovanni,

Why not take a quick trip up to their pier in Tampi – San Jose and inquire at the office?

Its only a half hour from Dumaguete.

    Good luck with your prospects!

    Hi,

Am trying to get in touch with Maayo Shipping Office to ask of the fares for cars. I will be travelling with my Mitsubishi Strada and wondering how much would be the charge.Secondly, what documents are needed? Thnx

  11. dutchpickle on said:

    Hello Theo,

The ferry hop between Cebu and Negros is a mere 30 minute ride. You leave and depart from a private pier and I never had to show documents for this trip.

I am not sure the fare for a Strada but probably around 1000 peso.

There are really no other options. Maayo is very efficient and the costs are reasonable.

There are trips every 90 minutes.

    Hello joseph,
please contact Maayo Shipping direct to get employment information – Maayo Shipping is a great company but “dutchpickle” just uses their ferry service to get back and forth between Cebu and Negros Islands and is not connected to the company in any other way.

    Hi!

May I know how much will it cost to transport a van (nissan Escapade? ? and how much do you charge per person? Will it be a different amount for children below 12 yrs old?

    Thanks in advance!

  24. dutchpickle on said:

Maayo Shipping is the most efficient and economical connection between Cebu Island and Negros Island.

Drivers simply show up and purchase their ticket and get on the next departing ferry.

I do not know the current Maayo Shipping rate for your Escapade but it will be the best option available for this crossing.

    happy trip

  26. dutchpickle on said:

    Hello juliana,

I am not sure the current costs- try calling direct the MAAYO office at the pier.

Maayo will be the cheapest and most efficient wayy to get from Cebu Island to Negros Lsland for certain – very good company with good customer service. I am simply a traveler that uses the MAAYO Shipping ferries regularly with good results

Maybe it is best to just show up at the pier and get a ticket there when you are ready to go. Most people do it that way because it is so convenient.
