The 360 Palawan Resort has some great cottages right on the beach and seems to be a popular place to stay, but the bar and restaurant appear to be empty. They have internet available for 100 pesos per hour and wireless is 50 pesos per hour.

The staff at 360 Palawan are great and the internet connection is probably the better of the two options. The view of the seas and the sunset are perfect.

The beach is right out at your doorstep.

This place was previously named the Ysabelle Resort. The beach is inviting but Port Barton does suffer from jellyfish invasions at times. Most snorkeling and swimming is done at the nearby islands accessible by pumpboats.
These blue jellyfish are not particularly dangerous – like the box jellyfish, but they can be annoying when they are in town.
The public computer. Wi-fi is also available.

remember that place DP its next door to where I have stayed a few times, last time was about 4 years ago. Was quite run down an see,s like it has not improved over time.
That end of the beach is definitely the best and I have wonderful memories of it.
I really envy your situation DP and travel experiences. Look forward to returning to Port Barton for a nice relaxing time.
Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your info – The 360 Palawan Resort was formerly the Ysabella.
The place is under new management/ownership and it looks nice, clean and comfortable. The nipas on the beach seemed to be fully occupied.
I stopped in there a few nights to have a beer and use the wi-fi ( 50 pesos for beer and 50 pesos per hour for internet) Using the house computer costs 100 pesos an hour.
Internet doesn’t seem to have caught on yet in Port Barton. There were several people booking tickets on line with Cebu Pacific when I was there.
cheers

Hi dp. wow man is that the most expensive internet connection in the Phills or what. The place look great mate . good to see u ok and getting plenty of clicks on the bike. still no sign of Johnny ahaah
BW Dave
Hi Dave,
I have to get the smart bro like you have mate. The internet in Port Barton is expensive indeed at 100 pesos an hour using the house computer or 50 pesos an hour using wi-fi.
Summer Homes is even higher at 120 pesos per hour if using their computer.
The strange thing is that I pulled into San Vicente and got a room at Picardal Lodging house and have free wi-fi all day – and it’s fast!
The old bike is chugging along – rolled over 50,000k on the way from Port Barton to San Vicente :) Planning on trying for Tay Tay tomorrow taking the back road.
Melody must be expecting any day now! Congratulations in advance.
cheers

I WILL NEVER FORGET 360, MY FIRST TIME TO EAT SCRAMBLED OSTRICH’S EGG. OF COURSE, ONE EGG WAS ENOUGH FOR US AND THE WHOLE STAFF’S BREAKFAST.
I could not contact the cellphone numbers given on the top. I hope someone can give me another contact number and contact person because I am planning to put a reservation in this resort. Thanks
