The owner is a very friendly and he is most accommodating. If you plan a longer stay he is also flexible with the rates even though they are already cheap to begin with.
You are within walking distance of several good restaurants and bars and it is a short tricycle ride to town. If it is early morning it is a nice walk to Dunkin Donuts. (Tragically they usually do not have coffee, which is one of my only complaints about Puerto Princese)
In the poblacion or city limits the tricycle rides are 7 peso per person. For longer distances work out the fare with the driver in advance. Sometimes they can be pretty slippery but most of the drivers are just trying to earn a fair wage.
