Judy’s Resto and Bar – Port Barton Palawan
Judy has put a lot of work into this corner grill that started as a small neighborhood bbq and blossomed into a favorite night spot for travelers. She is originally from Panay so had a bit of an extra struggle getting things going but she prevailed with excellent customer service and food.
The staff has a lot of energy and a good efficient staff that keep the place humming.

Port Barton has a different vibe than nearby Sabang or the more distant El Nido. Sabang is now a short 2 hour ride from Puerto Princessa when it used to be accessed through Port Barton by boat.
The road to Port Barton is reasonably good too but it still gets sloppy during he rainy season. Internet is only available at two of the resorts that I am aware of – the 360 Palawan Resort and Summer Home Resort. It costs 100 at one and 120 at the other. I am uploading this at the 360 Palawan using a wireless connection for 50 pesos per hour. By Philippine standards these costs are high.

More than likely you will have a few meals here during your visit. Island hopping tours can be booked here too The system in Port Barton is more casual than in places like El Nido and Sabang, but it keeps things interesting.

Brings back nice memories DP been long time since I was there and want to return soon. I ate many meals there and enjoyed all, good food an friendly staff.
After the trip to Germany will take a break back there, some of the dives also are Ok although not special.
