Picardal Lodge

San Vicente is about 45 minutes by boat from Port Barton. By road – maybe 2+ hours because you have to double back to the highway and come in from the other side. From Puerto Princessa about 4 hours. There is a new airport that is near completion.

There is not much going on in San Vicente but nearby Long Beach is probably the best beach in the Philippines.

Rooms at the Picardal Lodge run 400 to 800 pesos and are the best value in the area. They also have a wi-fi connection that is reasonably fast.

The Picardal has excellent customer service and is in a handy location across from the public market. San Vicente is a sleepy little town with few entertainment possibilities but it is a good base for exploring Long Beach. You can organize a ride to the beach with a motorbike and walk for hours along the shore.
