Jose Calzadilla is a combination divemaster/chef at the Seadog.
Most of the dives around El Nido are 10 to 20 meters in undamaged coral with plenty of fish. This whole area is a marine sanctuary and there are schools of fish but not many pelagics or bigger fish. Turtles are common, but whale sharks and mantas are not usually seen. Jose mentioned that there were 2 reported sightings of whalesharks in 4 years.

Jose Calzadilla is now the manager and dive instructor at Palawan Divers also in El Nido. A very good dive instructor he is as well.
