Taylelong’s Pension House
Tay Tay Palawan
Tay Tay is a good place to rest for the night if you are driving from Puerto Princessa to El Nido and want to break up the trip.
The town has a comfortable vibe and the Taylelong Pension house has outstanding fan rooms for 500 pesos per night.
When you enter the town, pass the Petron Station and take the next right. Head up the hill two hundred meters or so and look for the small sign on the left side of the road.

Taylelong
The Taylelong is at the end of the gravel road next to a small creek and the school. The carinderia at the intersection has good pancit and spaghetti, vegetables and breads.

Carinderia
We were ready for a rest after bumping up the dusty road from Puerto and this place was great – no complaints.

It was surprisingly cool at night. In the morning we sat and had our coffee while watching the flag ceremony at the school across the field. It kind of made you want to join in with the Bayon Magili.
This place fits is with my style of traveling on a budget!
