Zaragosa Inn – San Vicente Palawan
Long Beach north of San Vicente has been my favorite beach since it was introduced to me about 15 years ago. Fourteen kilometers of clean white sand stretch out in the distance. No resorts clutter the scenery yet but that is soon to change.
Major players have bought the beach and an enormous airport is been built nearby. I think that San Vicente will outstrip Boracay in 20 years. Who am I but a nobody, but logic would dictate that Boracay has already reached its maximum capacity with water and sewage disposal.
Long Beach has almost limitless potential and with the new airport it will be easy to access.

The nipas go for about 350 a night or 5000 pesos a month. She also owns one of the bakeries outside of town.

Long Beach San Vicente
The Mom and Pop type places that you find along the beach in Port Barton will have no place here.
They are too undercapitalized – but this unique standout on the way to the beach is a sign that all is not lost. Zaragosa has a few small nipa huts and a bigger place with cooking facilities. A friend rents out the whole place for 300 dollars a month.

This resort in progress looks like it’s going to be the first “improvement”.

Progress.
What a beautiful place. It’s is amazing it has remained hidden as long as it did.
The San Vicenet Palawan airport is nearing completion. The 300 million peso development should will greatly enhance access to new developments being built on the 14 kilometer beach. Politicians that own a good deal of the land should prosper.

San Vicente development
There is still time to camp on the beach and enjoy the sunset – but not for long.
quote from Palawan Times:
“With this development, Alvarez said that prominent business families, including him and billionaire brother, Pepito, have already tropical islands, beach front properties, residential lots and other real estate properties in preparation to the rosy development of tourism in San Vicente.”

Hi dp,
Just dropping by. Do you have any updates about San Vicente Beach? Any developments?
Hi chummy,
Development on the San Vicente beach is still in its infancy. There is one major project that is well underway but most of the beach is still pristine wilderness. In my opinion this is the most beautiful beach in the Philippines :)
