Apo Island-near Dumaguete |
Diving Apo
The sanctuary is loaded with clownfish hanging around in the massive soft
coral beds.
The Coconut drift is sweet. You can get swept along in the current surrounded by jacks, trevalleys, and barracudas.

Snorkeling in the Philippines
Some of my fondest memories are of snorkeling in the Philippines. I like to go in the early mornings before the sun gets too intense.
It's a peaceful way to start the day long as there aren't too many jelly fish out there.

Apartment in the Philippines |
Apartment in the Philippines
In most areas you should be able to come up with something for 5,000 pesos a month or less (125USD).
Some things to consider are security, cost, location to the town
center, internet access, tv etc. I don't care for living way out in the
boonies but if that is what you like you might be able to get a place
for 1000 pesos a month or less. If you don't know a family or have
friends there you might bet bored after a few weeks.

Angeles City
Pampanga

getting it's start during the era when the US had the Clark air base at
airport there.
