From Baguio to Sagada

Lizardo Trans bus lines leave from Baguio City to Sagada every morning.

The Dangwa terminal is tucked between 2 malls across from the city market and easy to pass by if you are not alert.

bigcave_160.jpgThe fare is 220 pesos one way and they make the return trip once a day.The road to Sagada takes you on the Halsema highway through the Cordillera Mountains.

Then it will go over the highest point in the Philippine highway system and pass through some amazing cabbage and vegetable terraces that rival any rice fields that you might run into later in Sagada and Banaue.

bigcave_069.jpgThe bus makes a few stops along the way where you can order from the restaurant or buy food from the vendors alongside the road.

D Rising Sun, another bus line, makes the same trip a few times a day. The terminal is on Magsaysay and the fare is slightly higher than Lezardo.

It is a good idea to scout out where they are located the day before so you don’t have to fumble around in the morning trying to find them when you are half asleep.

bigcave_059.jpgThey are quite a ways from the terminal by the Baden Powel Hotel where Victory Liner and most of the other buses are but it is a walkable distance if you are not traveling too heavy.

  1. Hi,
I’d like to know if there are buses directly from Sagada back to Baguio?
    Is it also GL-Lizardo?

I think there are several lines but I have not taken the bus in a long time. Check what times with the guest houses and bus drivers.
