Lockheed Constellation – TWA
This big 4 prop airplane was used for military transport in World War 2 and used as a civilian airliner after the war ended.

The 18 cylinder radial engines are impressive. The triple tail configuration looks rather cool and helped keep the planes profile low, making easier to fit in existing hangars at the time. The Constellation could outrun a Zero with it’s top speed of over 340 mph and could cruise at 300 mph. The service ceiling was 24,000 feet.
This plane is stored at the Pima Air and Space Museum
