Dumaguete Waterfront

Monning on the waterfront in DumaguetePeaceful morning on the waterfront in Dumaguete.

Sometimes the noise on the highway along the seawall can be a bit much but this really is a special place to relax and walk in the mornings.

There is no beach but the view is great.

One response to “Dumaguete Waterfront”

  1. The traffic keeps building as the day progresses. Take care when crossing the street because these tricycles seem to appear out of mid air. So true DP, quite a few foreigners have been hit.

The trees are acacia trees, beautiful and very shady. The boulevard is the best part of Dumaguete especially early am. I am often there for breakfast. Many restaurants to choose from.

Unfortunately later the area is frequented by some rather thirsty foreigners with their extremely young girl friends which does not fit in so well. Further the persistence of the street vendors if one is sitting outside becomes unbearable.

As you pointed out DP early morning is perfect to enjoy.
